MEF Membership and Certification
DataNet and parent company BringCom are both MEF CE 2.0 Certified:
- DataNet is E-Access MEF CE 2.0 certified in Uganda.
- BringCom achieved E-Access and E-Line MEF CE 2.0 certification in London and East Africa. MEF CE 2.0 focuses on interoperability and interconnection with multi-vendors networks and services.
BringCom is a MEF member.
MEF: The industry focal point for Carrier Ethernet – MEF, as the defining body for Carrier Ethernet, is a global industry alliance comprising more than 220 organizations including telecommunications service providers, cable MSOs, network equipment/software manufacturers, semiconductors vendors, and testing organizations. MEF’s mission is to accelerate the worldwide adoption of Carrier-class Ethernet networks and services. MEF develops Carrier Ethernet technical specifications and implementation agreements to promote interoperability and deployment of Carrier Ethernet worldwide.
