In Africa, there is often a need for philanthropic programs to support targeted projects to promote individual personal growth and development or focus on environmental programs such as the protection of wildlife. About the Jane Goodall Institute (JGI)
Founded by primatologist Dr. Jane Goodall, the Jane Goodall Institute JGI is an international wildlife and environment conservation organization headquartered in Arlington, VA with branches in many countries. Its mission is to improve the environment of all living things, especially improving understanding and treatment of great apes through research, public education and contributing to the preservation of great apes and their habitats.
